About Me

Katherina Kavungu: MSc Counselling and Psychotherapy, Identity-oriented Psychotrauma Therapist (Ct IoPT), Family Constellation Practitioner, Internal Family Systems (IFS) Certified Therapist 

After working for 10 years as a lawyer in Germany and as an analyst in Ireland, I realised my true passion was helping people overcome pain and struggle. Having faced many challenges in my own life and sought help, I felt my heart open to my true calling, leading me to change my career. I retrained in Regression Therapy and went on to study and qualify in Identity-oriented Psychotrauma Therapy and Systemic Family Constellations. I opened my private practice in Dublin in 2012 and have continued to deepen my clinical and academic training alongside my practice, including completing an MSc in Counselling and Psychotherapy.

My spiritual journey has been long, but I feel that I am now exactly where I'm meant to be. Having personally benefited greatly from Regression Therapy, Trauma Therapy and Family Constellations, I know firsthand how these therapies can facilitate healing and transform a person's life. One of the fundamental principles I believe in is that nothing is ever lost. We are born with amnesia so we can experience life fully—we cannot learn and grow by knowing all the answers from the start. Matter and energy always continue to exist, sometimes in different forms.

Discovering ourselves, our purpose, and awakening often involves a wide range of emotions, but the beauty and joy of what we learn about ourselves and those around us can bring resolution, healing, understanding, and ultimately peace and contentment.

In my practice in Dublin, Ireland, I work intuitively and draw on my therapeutic skills to help create harmony and balance between mind, body and soul.
