Foundation Facilitator Training

Join our year-long, facilitator training in Trauma & Family Constellations, designed to provide you with the knowledge and practical skills necessary to guide others through this profound healing process. Led by experienced facilitator Katherina Kavungu, the programme combines online and in-person learning, spread across 6 weekends and 6 modules, totalling 114 hours.

This programme serves as both a certification training to become a Trauma & Family Constellation Facilitator and as a comprehensive professional development opportunity for those with prior experience. Whether you're new to the field or looking to expand your expertise, this training offers a transformative learning and healing journey for all participants.


Training Structure:

The training consists of 6 Modules. A total of 10 training days (plus assignments) is the minimum required to receive Certification as a Trauma & Family Constellation Facilitator.

Format: Hybrid (Online and In-Person)

Duration: 6 weekends, 6 modules, 113.5 hours total

Training Modules:

• Module 1: Understanding the History of Family Constellations & Different Types of Constellations

• Module 2: Family of Origin and Transgenerational Transference

• Module 3: Identity and Psychotrauma Theory

• Module 4: Victim-Perpetrator Dynamics

• Module 5: The Facilitator's Role and Position

• Module 6: Facilitating Individual Sessions

Throughout the programme, students will engage in theoretical study and practical exercises, including live demonstrations and the opportunity to facilitate their own constellations. This training offers a safe and supportive space for personal and professional growth.

Each module is structured around a combination of the following activities, tailored to the content being explored and the natural rhythm of the group:

  • Review of Learning
  • Teaching
  • Q&A
  • Live Demonstration – teacher and student working in the group
  • Reflecting on the experience and material presented


Training Dates 2025/26:

• Module 1: 22.3.-23.3.2025

• Module 2: 2.5.-4.5.2025

• Module 3: 4.7.-6.7.2025

• Module 4: 12.9.-24.9.2025

• Module 5: 14.11.-16.11.2025

• Module 6: 16.01.-18.01.2026

Training Schedule for each Module:

• Fridays (Online, Using Zoom): 6:00 pm – 9:30 pm

• Saturdays (In-Person): 9:00 am – 5:00 pm

• Sundays (In-Person): 9:00 am – 5:00 pm

Only classes hosted online via Zoom are recorded. Students cannot attend an In-Person class online via Zoom.

A certificate will be presented at the end of the training, assuming students attend a minimum of 10 training days.

Location:

In-person training will be held in Dublin.


Between Modules:

Between modules, students are encouraged to form self-organised study groups. These groups provide an excellent opportunity to practice skills, deepen understanding of the material, and foster collaborative learning with fellow participants. Some study groups continue after the training has finished and provide an opportunity for continual professional development.


Supervision:

Supervision is available for each student after the training is completed to support their ongoing professional development. In addition, monthly group supervision sessions are offered, providing a space for shared learning, feedback, and continued growth as students apply their skills in real-world practice.

• Total Cost: €1,800

Standard Payment Schedule:

• Deposit: €150 to secure your place (non-refundable)

• Standard Payments: €275, due two weeks before each module

Advance Payment Schedule: Pay upfront for all six modules and receive a €200 discount.

• Advance Payment: €1,450, due two weeks before the training begins

Facilitator Training - Terms & Conditions

Payment

To secure your place in the training, all participants are required to pay a non-refundable booking deposit of €150. This deposit is payable upon receiving a confirmation email, which officially reserves your place in the programme.

If you choose to pay in six instalments, the first payment is due four weeks before the training begins, and subsequent payments are due four weeks before each module.

For those opting to pay in full and receive a discount, the total fee must be paid four weeks prior to the start of the training.

If you have requested an invoice and provided the necessary details, I will issue the invoice once you confirm your place in response to the confirmation email.


Cancellation Policy

I strive to be fair while maintaining the structure of the programme. Please review my cancellation terms:

  • Cancellation Four Weeks or More Before the Training Start Date: If you cancel at least four weeks before the training begins, you are eligible for an 80% refund of all fees paid.

  • Cancellation Two to Four Weeks Before the Training: Cancellations made between two and four weeks before the start of the training will qualify for a 50% refund of the total amount paid.
  • Cancellation Less Than Two Weeks Before the Training: If you cancel less than two weeks before the start of the training, no refund will be issued due to the short notice.
  • Cancellation After the Training Has Begun: Once enrolled and the training has commenced, full payment for the course is due, regardless of attendance. No refunds will be provided for cancellations after the start of the programme. However, in exceptional cases, such as personal or health-related emergencies, students may request to defer their remaining modules and attend the next available training session at no additional cost.
  • Non-Attendance Without Notification: If you do not attend the training without prior communication, your fee will be forfeited and no refund will be provided.

In the unlikely event that I must cancel the training, you will receive a full refund of all fees paid, or the option to transfer to another training date.
